Vital record requests received between 7:30 am to 8:00 am may not be available until 8:15 am.
Vital record requests received after 4:15 pm Monday thru Thursday may not be available until 8:15 am the following business day.
Statewide Issuance
With the statewide issuance law now in effect, if the vital record you are requesting falls within the dates listed here, you can obtain the copies from any Register of Deeds office in the State of Wisconsin.

Records available for statewide issuance:
- Birth Certificates from October 1, 1907 to Present
- Marriage Certificates from October 1, 1907 to Present
- Death Certificate from September 1, 2013 to Present
- For Birth, Marriage and Death Records prior to these dates, contact the Register of Deeds in the County where the event occurred.
- Divorce Certificate from January 1, 2016 to Present
- For Divorce Records prior to January 1, 2016, contact the Clerk of Courts in the County where the divorce occurred.
