Beginning on January 1st, 2010, Chippewa County's land use actions must be consistent with its adopted comprehensive plan. The Comprehensive Planning Law requires nine elements to be included. Those nine elements are: issues and opportunities, housing, transportation, utilities and community facilities, agricultural, natural and cultural resources, economic development, intergovernmental cooperation, land use, and implementation. In the following section, you can find the final approved Chippewa County Comprehensive Plan. Any questions can be directed to Douglas Clary, Planning and Zoning Administrator.
