Overview
This county based program relies on donations and volunteer drivers to deliver a hot, nutritious noon meal to persons who are:
- Aged 60 and over, and
- Home bound temporarily or permanently (if not, see Senior Dining), and
- Unable to prepare adequate meals on their own, and
- Live outside the city limit of Chippewa Falls (if not, call the city's Mobile Meals at 715-723-0486)
More Than Just a Meal
It's more than just a meal because it also provides a daily well-being check and is often the only socialization they may get all day. If there is ever a concern when delivering meals, we reach out to the designated emergency contact. Expectations for receiving a meal delivery will be agreed to in advance.
Make a Referral
Submit an online referral. Anyone can fill out the referral form on behalf of the interested consumer, but please confirm they are willing to receive meals and understand that availability isn't guaranteed. Many of our routes are full, but if we are unable to serve you right away, we can discuss alternate options such as getting on a wait list or information for subscription meal delivery services. You don't need a doctor's order for our meal service. No one is denied a meal due to inability to donate.
