Overview
Chippewa County, WI, was established in 1848 and has an estimated population of 67,801. Chippewa County is divided into 21 supervisory districts, and each district has a representative on the County Board of Supervisors. In April 2022, the County Board size increased from 15 supervisory districts to 21 supervisory districts. Chippewa County government is operated under an administrative form of government, and the County Administrator reports to the County Board. The annual County general operating budget is approximately $125 million.
The term of office for County Board Supervisors will expire April 2026.
