Chippewa County Crime Stoppers was formed as a result of the Take a Stand Against Meth Campaign in 2022 and will play an important role in helping prevent and solve crimes in Chippewa County.
Chippewa County Crime Stoppers will work diligently with local, state, and national law enforcement agencies to both prevent crime and arrest and prosecute those who break the law. We will be working with the schools and community by rewarding those who provide information about crimes before and after they occur. The size of the reward is proportional to the nature of the crime and the degree to which the confidential information contributes to the prevention or solution.
In many cases, tips received through Crime Stoppers help provide the return of property or restitution for damages to the victims of crime in our communities.
Our board is comprised of citizen members who volunteer their time and law enforcement liaisons from the many jurisdictions within our county.
Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit organization run solely by volunteers, relying on donations and fundraising to support operational costs. Financial support will assure Chippewa County remains a safe, enjoyable place to live, work, and recreate. We appreciate any amount that you can contribute to help in this important cause. Money received through donations will be used to establish and sustain a website, domain fees, rewards, tip software, along with costs associated with day-to-day operations such as printing materials and marketing.
