Crime Victim Compensation may be available to help pay for non-reimbursed expenses resulting from a crime, even if there is no arrest or conviction. Property loss or damage is generally not recovered through this program. To be eligible, a victim must not have caused or contributed to the crime and must cooperate with the law enforcement in the investigations and prosecution of the crime.
