Passports

The County Clerk's Office is a passport acceptance agency. Forms are available in the office, and passports are accepted from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Fridays. Normal processing time is currently 4 to 6 weeks (not including mailing time). Expedited service (2 to 3 weeks plus mailing time) is available for an additional $60 charge per application.

Please note that when applying for a passport, there are two separate payments required: one to the U.S. Department of State, which MUST be by check or money order, and one to the County Treasurer's office, which may be made by cash or a check.
