The Department of Public Health has a car seat safety program to promote safe transportation of Chippewa County residents. Car seat technicians can perform a car seat check, educate on proper car seat installation, and assist families with installation. A car seat can be provided if the family meets program guidelines. Call our department for more details and to schedule your car seat check today.
Free car seat checks are available through the public health department.
A Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician will check for the proper size and installation of your car seat, in addition to checking for possible recalls. Education will be given on the correct use and proper seat belt fit for older children.
