The Chippewa County Community Support Program (CSP) provides comprehensive, community-based mental health services for adults living with serious and persistent mental illness. CSP is designed to support individuals in maintaining stability, independence, and an improved quality of life - while reducing the need for hospitalization or more restrictive care settings.
Who CSP Serves
CSP is available to Chippewa County residents age 18 or older who have a long-term mental illness diagnosis, including:
- Schizophrenia
- Bipolar Disorder
- Major Depression
- Delusional or other psychotic disorders
Eligible individuals must have a history of ongoing treatment needs and significant challenges functioning in major areas of life. Participants must also agree to receive psychiatric care through the CSP provider.

- Support with Daily Living Skills
- Work Adjustment and Vocational Support

Services are tailored to each person's needs and are primarily delivered in the community to promote real-world skill building and independence.
