Did You Know That...
- A suspension of your driving privileges or jail time does not replace the fine you owe—you are still responsible for paying it.
- To reinstate your driving privileges, you must pay a fee to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
- Each year, the Department of Revenue intercepts over $100,000 in state tax refunds on behalf of the Chippewa County Clerk of Courts.
- A civil judgment against you can also affect your ability to obtain loans or credit.
