If you do not want to place your original Last Will and Testament in your safety deposit box or some other safe place, you may pay the statutory fee and ask the Register in Probate Office to place it in safekeeping. Please be sure to seal the original Will in an envelope. The following information must be on the envelope:
- Name and address of person making the Will
- Date the Will was signed
- Name of Personal Representative and any alternate
- Name of the attorney who prepared the Will
