Our Farmers Market Programs help Women, Infant, Children (WIC) participants access locally grown fruits and vegetables through two seasonal programs:
- Farm Fresh Produce Program
- Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)
Both programs support healthy eating and local farmers.

About the Programs
Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP)
The Wisconsin WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program is a statewide program that provides WIC participants with the opportunity to purchase locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs at farmers' markets. It also provides nutrition education and resources to encourage the consumption of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Farm Fresh Produce Program
Thanks to a generous donation from a community member, we were able to start the Farm Fresh Produce Program. This Program provides Chippewa County WIC participants with the opportunity to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables in Chippewa County only.
